FREMONT, CALIF. —October 13, 2010— Customers seeking increased performance while keeping power consumption in check will be pleased to hear that American Portwell Technology, Inc., (http://www.portwell.com) has released a new 3.5˝ ECX compact embedded system board that includes all of the performance enhancing advanced features gained from Intel’s second-generation dual-core Atom processors. The new compact (146mm x 105mm) PEB-2771VG2A embedded system board is perfect for a whole range of general applications such as medical devices, industrial automation and handheld gaming; and embedded applications such as home entertainment, in-vehicle infotainment, network devices and high-end vending machines; and non-security-based applications such as VPN, network monitoring and gateway. Based on Intel’s dual-core Atom processor D525 with Intel NM10 Express Chipset, the PEB-2771VG2A board supports DDR3 800 SODIMM system memory up to 4GB, dual display via VGA and LVDS, dual Gigabit Ethernet, onboard 12V DC input, two SATA interfaces, one 44-pin IDE connector, Type II Compact Flash socket, six USB ports, four serial ports and GPIO.
