American Portwell presents the new
PEB-7703GA,
a new high performance ATX
industrial motherboard.
Based on the Intel® 875P and 6300ESB
(Hance Rapid) chipset, the PEB-7703GA
features an Intel® Pentium®
4 533/800 MHz FSB (Front Side Bus)
with HT (Hyper-Threading) technology
and Gigabit Ethernet. The PEB-7703GA
is designed to fulfill the requirements
of applications requiring high-speed
bandwidth and upgrades. It supports
dual channel DDR 400 memory up to
4GB with ECC support on four 184-pin
DIMM socket. This Industrial ATX motherboard
also supports 2 S-ATA (Serial ATA)
devices, 2 PCI-X (64bit/66MHz) slots,
2 PCI (32bit/33MHz) slots, 1 AGP 8X
slot, 2 legacy ISA slots and Gigabit
LAN. Like other Portwell products,
this Industrial ATX motherboard is
designed for longevity and long life
cycle support.

supports Intel® Pentium® 4 and
Celeron® processors up to 3.4 GHz
/ 2.8 GHz with hyper-threading (HT)
technology. HT technology is ideal for
real-time control systems as it enables
multi-threaded software applications
to execute threads in parallel to boost
performance. With Intel® 6300ESB
Hance Rapid chipset, 2 Serial ATA (S-ATA)
devices enables higher data transfer
rates up to 150MB/sec. For high-end
applications, the PEB-7703GA
supports up to 4 GB on four DDR 400
SDRAM DIMM with ECC support giving memory
bandwidth up to 6.4GB/s for high-end
applications.
The PEB-7703GA
offers multiple on-board high performance
I/O capability with up to 4 USB2.0 ports
with 2 of the USB ports located on the
rear panel. Optional on-board I/O includes
Compact Flash Type-II socket, 2 COM
ports for RS-232, 1 SPP/EPP/ECP parallel
port, 1 floppy port by pin-header and
1 IrDA by 5-pins pin header. With greater
expansion capability, this cost-effective
Industrial ATX motherboard integrates
on-board 1 AGP 8X slot, 2 PCI-X slots,
2 PCI slots and 2 ISA slots.
The PEB-7703GA
has all the necessary Industrial features
such as long MTBF (Mean Time Between
Failures), WatchDog Timer, operating
temperature range and CMOS data backup.
As an additional feature, a customize
BIOS is available to build specific
