The PVS-2420 is an advanced 2U rack-mount Digital Surveillance System, featuring capacities up to 16 video inputs and 1 audio input, recording at frame rate of up to 30fps NTSC/25fps PAL each. Using the superior MPEG-4 technology allows for higher compression rates at no sacrifice of video quality, while at the same time enables better network transmission quality when viewed via IE browser. The PVS-2420 is equipped with mighty network features. Captured video can be transmitted to PDA or MMS mobile phone. Remote access and control of the system is also workable via IE.

The capture card inside the PVS-2420 is based on the most popular CONEXANT 878A chipset, which has high compatibility with most of the Windows or Linux based DVR s/w. The PVS-2420 integrates single board computer within a refinedly designed industrial grade chassis. The modularized system design allows customers to have it as a 8, 12 or 16CH system according to their need. The PVS-2420 Back of PVS-2420 accommodates up to 4 HDD within the compact 2U chassis for 480G of data storage.
