Taipei, Taiwan - Nov. 15, 2004 - Portwell introduces the ROBO-8715VG2A, an Intel® Pentium® 4 processor based PICMG 1.0 Rev. 2.2 compliant PCI/ISA Single Board Computer. It offers outstanding performance, dual Gigabit Ethernet, 64-bit PCI bus expansion and storage interface - SATA.

The ROBO-8715VG2A provides a performance boost over previous architectures. It is based on the Intel® Pentium® 4 processor with Hyper-Threading Technology. The scalable ROBO-8715VG2A can utilize either an Intel® Pentium 4 or an Intel® Celeron® processor with 512 or 128 KB full core speed L2 cache, Intel® 845GV chipset with 400/533 MHz front side bus, and up to 2 GB DDR200/266 DIMMs on two sockets.

The ROBO-8715VG2A also offers on-board dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, four USB 2.0 ports (two on bracket for external keyboard & mouse), four serial ports, one parallel port, dual channel Ultra-DMA 100 interfaces, as well as two Serial ATA (SATA) ports, one Type II CompactFlash socket, Watch-dog timer and AC'97 audio.
